At Pitt, we have developed some of the world’s fastest swimmers in all disciplines. Our coaching staff's knowledge and insight will be available to you at a unique camp designed to teach the finer points of swimming at higher speeds. This camp will reveal the secrets to fast swimming that only Pitt coaches and swimmers know. Sprinters, middle-distance, and distance swimmers will benefit from this camp’s attention to speed development.
Campers will be placed into groups according to their skill level and age, allowing for the appropriate instruction level and progression for each camper. The camper-to-coach ratio will be 10:1 to create the best learning environment possible, promote quality instruction, and provide direct feedback for each camper.

Friday 5:00 pm -7:30 pm (check-in 4:00 pm -5:00 pm)
Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (check-in from 8:15 am – 9:00 am)

Friday:
- 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm Check-in
- 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm Pool session #1 begins
- 8:30 am – 9:00 am Check- in
- 9:00 am – 11:30 am Pool session # 2 begins
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm lunch (pack your own lunch)
- 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm Pool session # 3 begins

Video Analysis sessions cost $99. This is an opportunity to have one of our world-class coaches assess your stroke technique using underwater video footage to pinpoint key markers for improvement of force application on the water, translating to more speed, faster times, and champion-quality race execution.
LUNCH
Lunches are not included as part of the camp. Campers should bring their own lunch.
CAMP LOCATION / FACILITIES
The University of Pittsburgh has one of the nation’s largest collegiate indoor aquatic facilities, Joseph Clifton Trees Pool. It boasts two pools: the first is a 50-meter, 25-yard pool with 21 lanes and a full set of diving towers and one and three-meter boards. The second pool is a 6-lane, 25-yard pool that is ideal for small group instruction.

A detailed email with important details surrounding check-in, check-out, and other items will be sent to all campers the week prior to camp.
CANCELLATION POLICY / REFUNDS
Please email pittsportscamp@athletics.pitt.edu for cancellation purposes. Full refunds will be provided up to 14 days before the start of camp. A 50% refund will be provided within 14 days of the start of camp.
